What does Wales mean to our board?
To coincide with our online campaign #MyWales and the launch of our community/pioneer-sign up pages, the GlobalWelsh board share what Wales means to them.
If you're Welsh or have an affinity to Wales, tweet us your selfie video with the hashtag #MyWales and tell us what Wales means to you. pic.twitter.com/a2d2h9qGr1

Walter May: #myWales is caring, community oriented, welcoming and resilient. It is under-stated, self-effacing, authentic and classless. Humour is a core part of Welsh culture.
Chris Raybould: My relationship with where I come from underpins my DNA; honesty, humour, belief, passion, humble, fight for the underdog, no loud empty egos accepted and a winning attitude via hard work and fair play.
Nick Pearce-Tomenius: #myWales is passion, family, friends, laughter, cheekiness, adventure, beaches, talent, flair, camaraderie, inspiration, unique, hwyl and home
Dave Dean: #myWales is home, it’s family, friends, colleagues and a community rolled into one. It’s where my heart is... Where I work and play... the place I speak of with love and passion and a sense of awe, when I travel the world... no my friend, it’s not England, it’s Wales!
Martyn Phillips: #myWales is quite simply home, the place where I belong. The place I am proud to say I come from. The place where my story starts and the place where my story will end.

Want to take your love for Wales even further?
We’re now seeking community members and pioneers to help us on our mission to connect one million people with an affinity for Wales. Similar networks around the world have been achieving wonderful outcomes for their home countries – and we think it’s time Wales did the same.
