Help bring the Festival of Ideas to life

In the last few months a committee has formed with the ambitious and exciting aim of creating a Festival of Ideas centred in St David's in Pembrokeshire. We are seeking supporters, sponsors, participants and committee members. We are in the early stages of planning, with an engagement and launch event scheduled for September of this year.

Our working brief is:

Aim: To establish a festival environment, to promote reflective and inspirational thinking leading to transformational ideas for the future of Wales, the UK and internationally, centered in St David’s, Pembrokeshire

Desired Outcome: To position St David’s and Wales as a place of significance in terms of culture and ideas and attract highly talented speakers, artists and contributors. In turn this will have a positive effect on the local economy.

Themes: The arts, sciences, education, the environment, politics, spirituality

Location: St David’s and surrounding environs

Date and frequency: Provisionally March, annually
